When someone asks what labour feels like, it's gen When someone asks what labour feels like, it's genuinely hard to describe without scaring them (or myself) 🤣 Is it pressure? Intensity? A wave? An epic full-body event? Yes, all of that! The truth is, it's so different for everyone, and trying to explain it is like describing a color you've never seen. You definitely know it when you experience it, but talking about it is a whole other story 😅 If you're pregnant and wondering what labour actually feels like, what's normal, what helps, and how to feel more prepared and less terrified, the Getting Ready for Labour Masterclass breaks it all down. It's evidence-based, practical, calming, and absolutely zero horror stories 🌿✨ 👉 If you want to head into birth feeling informed, grounded, and ready, grab the Getting Ready for Labour Masterclass! Is it pressure?

🍽️ Comment MENU and I’ll send you easy meal 🍽️ Comment MENU and I’ll send you easy meal ideas for the postpartum weeks.

Between feeding, settling, changing nappies and trying to get five minutes to yourself, eating can somehow become the thing you remember at 3 pm.

Postpartum nutrition does not need to mean cooking proper meals from scratch every day. Sometimes it is a sandwich, yoghurt and fruit, leftovers, toast with something substantial on top, or whatever you can eat with one hand.

The goal is not perfection. It is making sure you are getting enough in to support recovery, energy and, if you are breastfeeding, the extra demands on your body too. 💚

If “wait… have I eaten today?” feels a little too familiar, you are definitely not the only one. 😅

If you are about to give birth or breastfeeding an If you are about to give birth or breastfeeding and constantly running on empty, comment MILK below and I will send you details on the Getting Ready for Breastfeeding course straight to your DMs. 💗

Breastfeeding takes a lot out of you. Especially when meals, fluids, and rest keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list because everyone else’s needs come first. 🥣

And while some tiredness is completely expected postpartum, feeling constantly empty and running on nothing is a sign your body needs more support than it is getting.

More food you can actually manage to eat.

More fluids within reach.

More rest where possible.

And a realistic plan that helps you recover while you are feeding your baby.

Because you cannot keep pouring from an empty cup, and nobody should have to figure all of this out alone at 3am. 💛

The Getting Ready for Breastfeeding was created to prepare and support you through breastfeeding, so you have a toolkit at your fingertips when breastfeeding doesn’t go to plan and you don’t know what to do. 🤱

If you want to stop guessing and start feeling supported, comment MILK below and I will send you all the details. 💗

📞 Worried about your milk supply? Book a discov 📞 Worried about your milk supply? Book a discovery call for individual breastfeeding support via the link in bio.
Milk supply worries can take up so much headspace, especially in those early weeks when feeding still feels new and unpredictable. 🤍

One of the biggest things I remind mums is that supply cannot be judged by one thing alone. How full your breasts feel, whether you leak, how much you pump or how often your baby wants to feed can all be misleading when looked at on their own.

Instead, we look at the full picture: how effectively baby is feeding, whether you can hear swallowing, wet nappies and baby’s growth. 👶

Sometimes there is a supply issue that needs support. Other times, what looks like low supply is actually normal feeding behaviour or an issue with milk removal.

Getting clear on what is actually happening can help you feel much more confident about feeding. ✨🌿

POV: First-time mums in the early weeks postpartum POV: First-time mums in the early weeks postpartum be like 😮‍💨🤍 Comment any emoji if this is you right now! 👇 Feeding feels constant, messy, and way harder than expected. Your body is sore, healing, and still giving so much. Sleep deprivation makes everything feel heavier 💤 Emotions come out of nowhere when you’re running on empty, and somehow, you’re still holding it together for everyone else. This stage isn’t intense because you’re weak. It’s intense because it is hard 🧠💛 Postpartum was never meant to be navigated alone. Support matters, especially when you’re feeding, healing, and barely sleeping 🌿 That’s exactly why I created the Postnatal Roadmap Membership! It offers ongoing support through feeding, recovery, sleep, and the emotional load of early motherhood, so you don’t feel like you’re constantly second-guessing yourself. This is all delivered in weekly bite-sized pieces, perfectly timed for the phase you’re going through with your little one. Think 'Baby Wonder Weeks' for mums! 🤍
